Sit and Sew: Lion’s Club, 9-3
January 14, 2016
Yesterday’s Sit and Sew was a very good day.
About 14 people came and went, and a core group of four or five stayed the whole day.
I, for one, totally enjoyed this uninterrupted time to play with my fabric crumbs to my heart’s content.
Here’s my set-up–with Maggie just beyond:
That bag of crumbs is breeding in the dark of night…
Here are random pictures I took at one point.
Linda taught those who needed the help how to do Foundation Paper Piecing, and Sarah gave some help on how to balance your thread tension in your sewing machine.
Say goodbye to Ann who will be going out west for a month or so. We’ll see her again in March.
Obviously in my own crumb addiction, I didn’t get everyone’s picture through the day.
But, look at all the sewing machines. And, the happy faces.
It was a good day.
